[ARCHIVED] Additional Arrests Made in Fort Mill Shooting Incident

YORK COUNTY, SC/CHARLOTTE, NC – On September 21, 2018, the York County Sheriff’s Office with assistance from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department arrested and charged eight more individuals in connection to the September 19, 2018, shooting incident on Drewsky Lane in Fort Mill.

The following people are charged with attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime:

  • Keanu Camacho, 20, of Charlotte, NC
  • Kwantavius Howze, 17, of Charlotte, NC
  • Willis Lane, 19, of Charlotte, NC
  • Andrae Smith, 18, of Charlotte, NC

The following people were charged with possession of a stolen firearm and unlawful carry of a pistol.

  • Isaiah Kersey, 18, of Charlotte, NC (Shooting Victim)
  • Makayla Renee Moyler, 18, of Charlotte, NC (Shooting Victim)
  • Dorian Price, 21, of Charlotte, NC
  • Eddie Kue'ron  Davis, 22, of Charlotte, NC

All eight suspects are currently being held in the Mecklenburg County Detention Center.

Khristain Sandi Kemokia, 18, of Charlotte, NC and Justin Michael Hull, 17, of Charlotte, NC were also charged with possession of a stolen firearm and unlawful carry of a pistol and are currently being held in the York County Detention Center.

Shortly after Midnight on Wednesday, September 19, 2018, the York County Sheriff's Office responded to a shooting in the area of Gold Hill Rd. and Drewsky Ln, Fort Mill, SC. Deputies found Isaiah Kersey and Makayla Moyler, each suffering from gunshot wounds. Justin Hull, Eddie Davis and Khristian Kemokai drove away from the scene after being shot at by Camacho, Howez, Lane and Smith. Hull, Davis and Kemokai wrecked on I-77 near the state line, later to be apprehended by York County Sheriff’s Office Deputies and K9 Units, with assistance from CMPD.

All 10 people involved are affiliated with the Bloods Gang.

Lane and Camacho have waived extradition in Charlotte and will be transported to the York County Detention Center at a later time.

The investigation in this case in ongoing.
