Sheriff Kevin Tolson is excited to announce two promotions to the York County Sheriff's Office Command Staff.
- Tamyra Hogg has been promoted from the rank of Lieutenant to Administrative Services Captain. Capt. Hogg has been with the York County Sheriff’s Office since 1998, previously serving as Watch Commander for 12-years in the Detention Center, Master Grade Sergeant, and Lead Booking Officer. Hogg trained in Detention Center Managment & Crisis Hostage Negotiation.
The Administrative Services Captain supervises the following departments:
- Inmate Kitchen
- Inmate Programs
- Medical Department
- Office of Professional Standards
- Rodney Hope has been promoted from the rank of Lieutenant to Operations Captain. Captain Hope has been with the YCSO since 2000, previously serving at Watch Commander for 5-years. Captain Hope is trained in Detention Management and has a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems from Catawba College.
The Operations Captain supervises the following departments:
- Operations Department
- Records Management
- Staff Training
- Systems Technician
