YORK COUNTY, SC - For the second year, Crime Stoppers of York County has won an award for helping clear the most criminal cases for a population the size of York County.
Crime Stoppers of York County received the 2023 Southeastern Crime Stoppers Association Productivity Award. The award was presented at the Annual Crime Stoppers Training Conference in Knoxville, TN on April 16 – 20, 2023.
In 2022 York County had 301 tips that led to 11 arrests and 278 closed cases. Since inception Crime Stoppers of York County has recieved 7630 tips and 1420 arrests made.
