YORK COUNTY, SC - Are you interested in becoming a Detention Officer with the York County Sheriff’s Office? Detention Officer hiring tours are back for the month of March. If so, come tour the facility and begin your career!
The Detention Division will be holding open tours on following dates:
- Friday 3/3/2022
- Friday 3/10/2022
- Friday 3/17/2022
- Friday 3/24/2022
- Friday 3/31/2022
Those interested should plan on arriving to the Detention Center lobby at 8:45 a.m. Candidates will complete paperwork and then participate in the tour.
The entire tour will take approximately 2 to 3 hours.
Requirements:
- 19-years-old
- Valid State Driver’s License
- No felony convictions
- No Cell Phones
- No children
- Dress business casual (No jeans, hats, open toed shoes, etc.)
