[ARCHIVED] Investigators Seek Information in Fort Mill Death

YORK COUNTY, SC – York County Sheriff’s Detectives are seeking help from the public with a death investigation near the 2700 block of Doby’s Bridge Rd. in Fort Mill. The York County Coroner has identified the person as Michael Aaron Ingraham, 55, of Endicott, New York.

Ingraham’s body was discovered about 20 feet off the road by a person driving south on Doby’s Bridge Rd. just before 5:30 p.m. on Feb. 9, 2023. It is believed that Ingraham’s had been on the road side for a few days. Currently, no suspects are in custody and investigators believe this is not a random act of violence.

Detectives need the public’s help with any information or leads on Ingraham’s activities since the beginning of January 2023. Investigators discovered Ingraham has no known family or acquaintances in the York County or surrounding areas.

This case remains under investigation.
