YORK COUNTY, SC – York County Detectives are investigating a homicide off Merion Ln. in Fort Mill. On February 2, 2023, Deputies were called to a home in the Beacon Knoll Villas gated community off Pleasant Road to assist emergency medical personnel with a person who was unconscious and not breathing.
During the early portion of the investigation, the victim was observed to have stab wounds. The victim’s name is not being released until the next of kin has been notified by the York County Coroner’s Office.
Currently, no charges have been made; however, investigators do believe this is not a random act of violence.
