YORK COUNTY, SC – You can now start your law enforcement career at the York County Sheriff’s Office at age 19. It’s a two-year head start for those pursuing a law enforcement career. No prior experience is required.
Sheriff Kevin Tolson has lowered the age requirement from 21 to 19 to allow more opportunities to fill vacancies at the York County detention center.
“We’re excited to offer the opportunity for good young men and women to enter a rewarding profession,” said Sheriff Tolson.
