York County Sheriff Office, SLED investigating Officer Involved Shooting

YORK COUNTY, SC – The York County Sheriff’s Office and State Law Enforcement Division (SLED) is currently investigating an officer involved shooting. The incident took place shortly after 4:00 AM December 1, 2017 near the 700 block of East Old Limestone Road, York, South Carolina.
As in any officer involved shooting, the State Law Enforcement Division (SLED) has been called in to investigate the shooting.
Currently E. Old Limestone Road at Branch Road, E. Old Limestone at Shiloh Road and E. Old Limestone Rd at Wood Road are blocked to through traffic until further notice. Citizens who normally take this route should consider alternate roads.
