[ARCHIVED] Two arrests made in McShae Road shooting death investigation

IN CUSTODY: Mug Shots of Robinson and McCullough

YORK COUNTY, SC – York County Detectives have made two arrests in connection with the January 23, 2021 shooting on McShae Road in Rock Hill, SC. An 18-year-old victim later identified by the York County Coroner’s Office as Paul Harts, was shot and later died at the hospital.

Khalil Lahenra Robinson, 20, of Winnsboro, SC was taken into custody on February 4, 2021 and charged with voluntary manslaughter. Robinson’s bond was denied. 

Christopher Lamont McCollough, 22, of Rock Hill, SC was taken into custody on February 5, 2021. McCullough has been charged with murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime and possession with the intent to distribute schedule I, II, III narcotics. 

“After weeks of diligent investigation our Detectives believe these are the people responsible for the unnecessary death of Paul Harts,” said Sheriff Kevin Tolson. 

More charges may be pending and this case remains under investigation.
