Sheriff Kevin Tolson is excited to announce the York County Sheriff’s Office will be participating for the first time in National Night Out on Tuesday, August 1st, 2017. National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood comradery.

The YCSO will be hosting the members of our partnering Neighborhood Watch programs at four different locations from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

  • York – Moss Justice Center - 1675-2A York Hwy. York, SC
  • Clover – Clover High School Football Field - 1625 State Hwy 55 E, Clover, SC
  • Rock Hill – YCSO District 3 Office – 515 S. Cherry Rd. Rock Hill, SC
  • Fort Mill – Baxter Village Hall – 3387 Richards Crossing, Fort Mill, SC

The National Night Out (NNO) program was introduced in 1984 by the director of the National Association of Town Watch (NATW), and it has since grown into a nationwide event where communities and police agencies come together to strengthen relations between neighborhoods and public servants (to see more information on NNO and NATW click here https://natw.org/history).
