District 1 of the York County Sheriff's Office includes the unincorporated areas surrounding the Cities of York, Hickory Grove, McConnells, Smyrna and Sharon. District 1 is the largest district and enjoys a rural lifestyle away from the more populated areas of York County.
District 1 has 20 uniformed deputies assigned to the area. The district office is located at the Moss Justice Center in York. Deputies work 12-hour shifts and are assigned either days or nights. Our deputies are dedicated to promoting a safe community, while preserving the quality of life that everyone enjoys.
