The Crime Suppression Unit is a part of the Criminal Investigations Division. The CSU was originally organized in November 2000 as the Traffic Enforcement Unit and formerly called the Anti-Crime Team (ACT) and Special Operations Group (SOG).
This unit is charged with enforcing all criminal laws, from misdemeanors to felonies, with an emphasis on targeting crime trends. The team focuses enforcement in high crime areas in York County.
The team also conducts fugitive recovery investigations and operations targeting the most violent offenders operating in York County.
