Traffic Enforcement Unit Enforcement Schedule for:

In response to current crash statistics, traffic volume, and other considerations the York County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Enforcement Unit continues to promote safer highways through enforcement, education, and awareness.

Current traffic collision statistics for York County indicate the following:
 

      The days of the week when most collisions occur: Monday, Friday, and Saturday

  • The times of day when most crashed occur between: 6:00am and 9:00am, 3:00pm and 6:00pm and 6:00pm and 9:00pm
  • The most frequent causes of crashed are: speed and inattention, failing to yield right of way, and driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs
