We understand that we are a full service organization working together with the citizens to enhance the quality of life in York County.

To enable our Deputies better serve the citizens of York County and to respond to emergencies or crimes quickly, please do not send an email the York County Sheriff’s Office directly. In addition this includes not sending direct messages to our social media pages.  The sheriff’s office information email address and social media pages are not monitored 24-hours a day.  If you send an email or social media direct message to report a crime the response time will be greatly delayed.

To report a crime or emergency that is in progress please call 9-1-1 immediately.  To report a crime that has already occurred, citizens can either call 9-1-1 or the non-emergency telephone line at 803-628-3056.

In addition, citizens can use text messaging to 9-1-1 to report crime.
